To Herman
- "Herman can never be replaced. He had a character far
beyond being a cat. He acted just like our dogs and was their
best buddy. We will see you again someday." - with a lot
of love from Steven & Marie
|
|
To Jasmine
- "There isn't any comparable level of love that Jaz showed
to both of us and to visitors. Jaz, better named as BigJaz, carried
on like a mother to all of our other cats & dogs. Even now
to think of saying a goodbye to her can not be done, we still
love you." - from Steven & Marie

|
To Mr. Tanner
- "Mr. Tanner got his name from a song by Harry Chapin,
and yes he had the love that the lyrics said a cleaner from a
town in the midwest felt." - we return that love to yoou
- from Steven & Marie

To FireFly
- "The naming of pets is a mystery, except in the case of
FireFly. From the time this little golden kitten came home with
us from the Shelter, he had one ability and that was - he could
literally fly. The distances meant nothing to him when jumping
from one point to another. We hope he keeps flying and if he
ever needs a shoulder to land on, I'm here." - with love
from Marie & Steve

The word 'love' can
mean many things between humans. But when and how an animal shows
the 'love' that they have for a human companion, everything comes
to a standstill. There is a warmth and satisfaction that can
reclaim and fill every lost minute in one's life.
Picture after a ho hum
workday, you come home and decide to take a short walk through
an old hayfield. When you start out, there is no one around.
When you are a hundred yards or so from your house, you hear
a faint meow. You turn around, and there is one of your cats.
Why? The cat doesn't need you, the cat just wants to be with
you. The cat comes over and starts rubbing around your legs.
You bend down to pick up your friend, and you can hear an immediate
purr. Your cat is so satisfied to be with you and have you around.
From there on your walk is so
relaxing, so who cares what went wrong during the workday
