 Saturday, December 22nd, 10:30 am until we are sold out at the Holiday Store located on the 2nd floor of the Commons in Margaretville!
Get there early fort the best selection. Christmas cakes and festive pies, scrumptious cookies and brownies are just a few of the delightful desserts you'll find for your holiday table!
This is an opportunity to buy wonderful baked goods from some of the most generous and incredible bakers in our community.
If you wish to donate baked goods please drop them off at the Holiday Store or the Shelter on Friday or at the store the morning of the event.

The “Holiday Store” is open for your shopping convenience Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
We are still receiving many wonderful donations and the store is full of surprises!!
The last day to find treasures will be Sunday, January 6th.We encourage you to visit our neighbors in the building who have been so supportive of our shelter; The Artisans Craft Store, Home Goods of Margaretville, Little Sprouts Children’s Store, Longyear Art Gallery, The Flying Pig Antique Shop, Ujjayi Mountain Wellness Center and Wildflowers Florist & Gifts.

Be An Animal’s Angel for the Holidays
We need a holiday miracle, we need your help…
Fuzzy and her 5 other beautiful all-black brothers and sisters came to the shelter this week because their owner has an aggressive form of cancer and has to move to be closer to the hospital in Albany for tests and therapy. Unfortunately, they are only allowed to have 2 cats where they are moving to, so 6 had to be surrendered to the shelter.
They are all spayed and neutered and up to date on shots and range in age from 5 to 10 years old. They are cat and dog friendly too… Can you open your heart and home to one of these homeless and sad cats either to adopt or foster?
You’ll be an animal’s angel! And you will be helping their previous owner go into treatment with peace of mind. Please call Deb at the shelter 607-746-3080 for more information and pass the word.
