Anniversary Celebration!

PetSmart Adoption Center, Kingston, NY
This Saturday, April 5th, from 11:30am – 2pm at the PetSmart Adoption Center in Kingston, we are celebrating over 250 adoptions and one year of managing the center. Everyone is welcome, especially our Alumni Pet Parents (bring pictures and stories!) Please stop by for some refreshments and a free raffle ticket to win a basket full of pet goodies. Christina, Alisha, Lynne, Cathy, Molly and Teresa will be there to welcome you as well as some more visiting cats and pooches. Thank you for your support and making this an unbelievable year!!! We Have a Secret to Share
119 Main Street Andes, NY
On Saturday, April 5th HCHS will be opening the doors to our first “permanent” store, Gifts from the Heart, at 119 Main Street, Andes, next door to Hogan’s General Store. Volunteers have been working very hard for the past month and the place is gorgeous!!! The store will be open on weekends only from 11am to 4pm until Memorial Day weekend. The hours will then change to Thursday thru Sunday 10am – 4pm or by chance. The store is totally volunteer run and the items for sale are all donated. All proceeds go to the care of the homeless pets in our community and to keeping the doors of the shelter open.
If you would like to volunteer at Gifts from the Heart or have new or gently used items to donate please call Ann Lukin or Deb Crute, at 607-746-3080 or email info@heartofthecatskills.org. We regret that we are NOT accepting clothing or used electrical items at this time.

The Spring Dance and Auction
Saturday, April 12th starting at 6pm
Belleayre Ski Center, Lower Lodge Highmount, NY
Put away those winter boots and get some spring in your step! Tickets for the 9th Annual Heart of the Catskills Spring Dance and Auction are available! This year, the evening includes a buffet dinner, dancing to DJ Tito, a silent auction, and a live auction emceed by Dennis Metnick at Belleayre's Lower Lodge on Saturday, April 12th starting at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $55 each and need to be purchased in advance at the shelter in Delhi, Now and Then Video in Margaretville or call Dale Trethaway, Spring Dance Chairperson. We regret NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Bindi LOVES children, she was raised with over 5. She was raised on a farm and kept outside all of her four years on a radio collar. Bindi loves the companionship of people and thrives on attention. She is friendly, affectionate, just loves to play and will come when called. She's a beautiful black/tan marbled tabby with white feet, neck, chest, belly, and the left side of her muzzle. As her name implies, she's a very sweet cat.
