 CheechTiger Medium \Adult \Male CHEECH was surrendered to the shelter on January 26, 2011 at the age of about 2 years old, because his guardian could no longer afford to have any pets. Please visit our wonderful cats available for adoption at the adoption center at Petco in Oneonta! They are all waiting for their "fur-ever" homes! We are excited to promote our “Adopt a Cat Cage or Dog Kennel” program. By participating in this program, you, as an individual, organization or business, can help us care for the homeless animals by sponsoring a cat cage or dog kennel for a month, six months or a year.  Your cage or kennel sponsorship will help fund the food, vaccinations and spay or neuter surgery for each cat or dog housed in it while they wait for their “fur-ever” homes! Foster Caregivers
 HCHS is looking for foster care givers for kittens and their moms. All you need is an extra room, attention, some time, and lots of love! If interested, please call the shelter at 607-746-3080, or email. Contact the shelter for upcoming class dates. Classes are held over a six week span led by Jan Newcomer, at the Countryside Care Center. Classes fill up quickly so reserve your spot soon. They help with everything from walking dogs, socializing cats, grounds work, facility maintenance, office tasks, community outreach programs, to helping us find forever homes for our pets. This means that if you sell items on eBay you can now donate apercentage (10% - 100%) of your sale to benefit the shelter.
