“The Last Dog Days of Summer Fest” will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 11am to 3pm on the beautiful grounds of River Rock Farm in Delhi. With delicious BBQ and live music, this family- and dog-friendly fundraiser will offer something for everyone!

The Lost Bookshop and Heart of the Catskills Humane Society are hosting another pop-up cat cafe!

Visitors are invited to the store to snuggle and play with adoptable kittens, and enjoy complimentary tea and snacks amongst the books, which will include many feline-focused favorites.

Tickets are free, but each family/group is encouraged to bring an item from the shelter’s wishlist or a $10 donation.
To claim your spot, select the time you'd like to come and reserve a free ticket for each member of your party.

The Heart of the Catskills Humane Society's Foster Care Program provides temporary housing and care for shelter pets who aren't quite ready for adoption or just need some time out of the shelter.

The shelter needs foster homes for mom cats with kittens and currently has several shy adult cats that would greatly benefit from some special foster TLC in a home setting to give them the confidence they need to blossom and find their forever homes.

The shelter will provide all the food and supplies needed, including medical care. We just ask that foster families provide lots of love, socialization and playtime they need!

The shelter is full of cats that need a job! They want to work and are not cut out for the lazy pet life! They can provide you with environmentally friendly rodent control for spaces like barns, workshops and garages. They work for a fair wage - all they ask for is a safe space to work, food and water! They will even willingly put in overtime for you!
